Renée Snelson (Stänzii) is a multidisciplinary artist working from her studio at Mana Contemporary in Jersey City, NJ. Through painting, sculpture, animation, and installation, she explores themes of identity, adornment, nostalgia, and emotional transformation.

Recurring symbols including pearls, eyewear, hearts, crystals, and fashion accessories become stand-ins for memory, desire, protection, and performance. Drawing from both fine art and her background in fashion and design, Snelson creates vibrant visual worlds that blur the line between fantasy and personal mythology.

She is currently developing a new body of paintings and sculptural works from her studio at Mana Contemporary.
